Try Beamote early and tell us what breaks.

We're looking for beta testers before the public Google Play launch. Anyone with an XGIMI projector and an Android phone can join, and we especially need owners of international (Android TV / Google TV) models. Use it for 7 days, send us an email, and get a free lifetime pass.

Sign up as a beta tester

Enter the Google account (Gmail address) you use in the Play Store on your phone. The beta only shows up for that account.

How it works

  1. Tester registrationWe add your account to the Google Play tester list. This usually takes 1–2 days.
  2. Google Play security checkThe beta app has to pass Google Play's security check before it is registered as a tester app. Once it passes, we email you the invite link.
  3. Install and use it for 7 daysInstalling starts the 7-day free trial. Use it like you normally would.
  4. Email us, get a lifetime passAfter 7 days, just send us an email. Details below.

How to install the beta

  1. In the Play Store, tap your profile picture (top right) and check you're signed in with the Google account you signed up with.
  2. Open the invite link from our email with the same account and tap Become a tester.
  3. Tap Download it on Google Play and install.
  • The beta is distributed only through Google Play. We never send APK files or ask you to install one.
  • If you see "App not available", the security check isn't finished yet or the Play Store is signed in with a different account.
  • Until the public launch, the app may show as com.rehabi.xgimiremote (unreviewed). That's expected.

Use it for 7 days, email us, it's free for life

After 7 days, just email admin@parentsguard.org with the Google account you signed up with. We reply with a free lifetime pass (a Google Play promo code). Redeem it in the Play Store under profile → Payments & subscriptions → Redeem code. It works even if the trial has ended and the app is locked.

We plan to grow Beamote into one app that also controls the other devices around your projector, like AV receivers and TVs. Your lifetime pass covers those features too.

If something goes wrong

  • In the app, open Settings → Send diagnostics and pick your email app. You'll see the report before it's sent, and MAC addresses are masked.
  • If the app won't install or the invite link doesn't open, email admin@parentsguard.org with your Google account, phone model and projector model.
